□ Gongseri Catholic Church
Gongseri Catholic Church is a Catholic church located in Asan, Chungcheongnam-do. It was founded in June 1895 by Devise, and was built in 1926. It is a historic church with a history of 126 years that started in 1890 and is designated as Chungcheongnam-do Monument No. 144. It is a place visited by many tourists.

□ Plaster The place where the first plaster was developed and distributed
It was the first place where salves were developed and distributed, and once there was no medicine that was as good as salves for wounds and boils. The place where the plaster was first made and distributed was Gongseri Catholic Church. Father Emile Deviz (Korean name: Seong Il-lon), who was appointed here in 1895, purchases raw materials using the method he learned in France, makes plasters, and distributes them free of charge. The secret was handed down to Lee Myung-rae (John), who helped the priest at the time, and it was distributed nationwide under the name Lee Myung-rae plaster.
□ Gongsegot Warehouse (Gongjinchang)
It is famous as a historical site. The site of 10,000 pyeong on which the church is located was used as a warehouse at Gongse Cape where three grains harvested from the Chungcheong-do area were stored. It was a gongse warehouse that had been operated for nearly 300 years, until it was built and operated with 80 rooms in the 18th year of King Jungjong (1523) and closed in the 38th year of King Yeongjo (1762).

Gongseri Catholic Church is located in Gongseri, Dunpo-myeon, Asan-si, Chungcheongnam-do. When departing from Seoul, take the Gyeongbu Expressway, get out of the Asan IC, and move toward Dunpo-myeon for about 10 minutes. Gongseri Cathedral is open from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm, and admission is free.
